Transportation models
Transportation models are a transportation planning and analysis tool used to research and predict future private vehicle movements on roads and passengers on public transportation.

The model uses a broad database describing population systems, land use, infrastructure, and transportation policies to predict future traffic and plan more efficient transportation.
Using transportation models allows for the analysis of future demand and travel patterns. The models allow for traffic and passenger forecasts and also for understanding what level of service is expected on the roads in the future and what the demand for public transportation will be. Transportation models allow for the testing and improvement of planning, and for adapting planning to future demand. The models allow for transportation analyses from the intersection, street, neighborhood, city level, and also for transportation analyses at the metropolitan and national levels.
We specialize in various models for macro-level traffic analysis, such as analyzing traffic generated by a city, neighborhood, or region based on the EMME software, as well as micro-level traffic analysis, such as analyzing predicted traffic versus street capacity, and testing traffic light plans at intersections based on the AIMSUN software.

Micro-simulation testing of planned traffic arrangements - adding a traffic light and updating traffic light plans intended to improve public transportation access to the central bus station on Hatzvi Street in Jerusalem.
Product: A systemic traffic test was conducted in a micro-simulation model using AIMSUN software. Comparison of service levels, transit times, speeds, and examination of phases at traffic lights for the purpose of adapting a traffic plan to improve and resolve a traffic issue.
